Delete your Memba account

You can delete your Memba account (by Memba Ltd) and everything you saved whenever you want. Before you do, you may want to export your memories from Settings: once deleted, they can’t be recovered.

From the app

Open Memba and go to Settings.
Tap “Delete my vault”.
Confirm with “Yes, delete everything”.

Without the app

Write to support@memba.app from your account’s email, with the subject “Delete my account”. We’ll reply to confirm the account is yours and schedule the deletion.

What gets deleted

All your memories: voice notes, photos, text and transcripts.
What Memba built from them: people, places, dates, questions and answers.
Your account: email, name, password or Google link, and the notification token.

When

You have 30 days to change your mind: write to support@memba.app and we’ll cancel the deletion. After that we destroy your vault’s key, which makes any encrypted copy of your files unreadable, and we delete your files and your account.

What remains

A minimal record, with no content, that your vault was deleted.
Usage data, which has no content, linked to an id that no longer identifies you. If you’d like us to delete it too, ask in the same email.
